The first album by this Jakarta-based band was voted one of the best in 2006 by Rolling Stone Indonesia and it’s easy to see why. Claude’s rough vocals over the power of Deedee’s guitars make for a potent mix of hardcore and metal that would do Chino Moreno proud. The band’s first single Hurricane Boy has become a favorite on alternative radio and the quartet’s drunk and disorderly live shows has earned it a strong following in the capital. The group says fall is their favorite season for the change that it brings and few would be surprised if their music caused a similar seismic shift in the landscape, bringing shoegazers and headbangers together as one.

MELATI DI TAPAL BATAS dibentuk tahun 2006 dan awalnya merupakan sebuah side project dari Marthin (Break Us Down) serta Tegar (ex Break Us Down, Spirit Of Life) yang menggandeng Putu dan Ryan. Mencoba merepresentasikan keterbuaian akan emo yang pada saat itu mendominasi tiap sudut telinga mereka. Tak lama, Marthin memutuskan hengkang dan direkrutlah Fajar. Kemudian direkrut pula Fahmi (ex First Flower After Flood) untuk menambah kekuatan pada gitar.
Singel "EPILOG KALA SENJA" menjadi perbincangan manis dikala dominasi deru mesin bernama musik Metal serta menjadi candu alternatif telinga awam diantara caci maki serta prasangka tak berkesudahan. Saat ini beberapa materi sedang dalam tahap penulisan dan pematangan untuk pendokumentasian dalam bentuk rilisan di bawah kuasa sesat iblis semesta BELUKAR RECORD.

Started from 2005, when Endrow (Guitar), Roshid (Bass), Dedi (Drum), and Holis (Guitar 2) agreed to leave FEAR INSIDE. In October 2006 they succeeded in completing 8 songs and releasing their first album "MONSTER OF INSANITY" supervised by No Label Records on February 2007. Where Steven (Brutal Torture) became the emptiness filler in vocal. One that made them satisfied with the issuing of this album, mid March 2007 they were successful got vocal continue to that is Nando (Ex-Boikot, Conviction). Mid January 2008, Roshid resign from the bass position. At the end of March 2008 they got a bass player that is Alan (Ex-Pulverizer). And this formation was the formation that was good for this band future. And they will prove him on the stage and in their 2nd album.
On July 31 2008 they recorded 2 new songs materials in Primitive Studio. Two songs be entitled "Kronik Manipulasi" and "Edukasi Sesat". And his plan 2 songs will be made one of EP that in published by Henceforth Records. And this EP will be released in September 2008.
